Daifuku Webb Holding Company promotes Brian Stewart to chairman, president and CEO

Stewart joined Jervis B. Webb Company in 1981.


Daifuku Webb Holding Company is pleased to announce the promotion of Brian Stewart to Chairman, President and CEO.

In this role, Stewart oversees all Daifuku Webb entities, including Jervis B. Webb Company, Daifuku America Corporation, Elite Line Services (ELS) and Logan Teleflex, Inc. He also continues to serve as President of Jervis B. Webb Company. Former Daifuku Webb Co-CEO and Chairman Takashi Hiramoto remains as a Director of the company.

Stewart was formerly President and Co-CEO of Daifuku Webb. He joined the Jervis B. Webb Company in 1981 as a Junior Engineer and has held numerous positions, including COO, Vice President of Engineering and Senior Vice President of Operations.

In addition, Daifuku Webb promotes Aki Nishimura to President of Daifuku America Corporation, which is headquartered in Reynoldsburg, Ohio. Nishimura was previously Vice President of Daifuku America’s Automotive Division. Former Daifuku America President Nobo Morita continues to serve as an Executive Internal Consultant. Nishimura joined Daifuku Co., Ltd., in 1987 and has held numerous positions including General Manager of Daifuku Canada, Inc.

Finally, Daifuku Webb promotes Mike Conner to President of ELS, which is headquartered in Carrollton, Texas. Conner was previously Vice President, General Manager of ELS. He also is appointed to the Daifuku Webb Board of Directors. Conner joined ELS in 2002. Previously, he has held leadership roles with Fortune 1000 companies such as Fujitsu, Unisys, Pier 1 Imports, and Invensys.
