Duravant acquires Mespack, a global leader in flexible packaging machinery

Acquisition to enhance design, manufacturing and aftermarket service capabilities and global footprint.


Duravant, a global engineered equipment manufacturer serving the food processing, packaging and material handling sectors, has announced it has acquired Mespack, the Barcelona, Spain-based manufacturer of flexible packaging equipment specializing in horizontal form-fill-seal technologies for flexible sachet, pouch and stick packs.

This is Duravant’s second acquisition in the packaging sector within 30 days and is intended to enhance its design, manufacturing and aftermarket service capabilities on a global scale.

Mespack is a high-technology designer and manufacturer of film packaging equipment serving the food, beverage, pharmaceutical, chemical, confectionary, cosmetic and personal care sectors. Mespack’s product range includes form-fill-seal machines, multi-lane machines, pre-made pouch filling equipment and continuous motion filling systems.
