Today, Han-Tek, a large materials handling and systems automation company located in upstate New York, announced its acquisition of PowerLab Control Technologies, an industrial systems integrator in North Carolina.
Through this acquisition, Han-Tek bolsters its solutions portfolio with process controls and SCADA capabilities. PowerLab is the process of being integrated into Han-Tek’s Controls Division.

PowerLab Control Technologies is an industrial systems integrator that offers motion system design and control, robotics system support, PLC and PAC programming and panel building. Han-Tek customizes automation technology to optimize manufacturing-assembly and product-distribution systems. Founded in 1961, the company specializes in automation and integrated materials handling systems with a concentration on overhead cranes, conveyors, controls, robotics and automation. Han-Tek is based in Victor, N.Y.
