Handheld announces strategic alliance with SOTI

Enterprise mobility management alliance will pair rugged mobile computer manufacturer with provider of mobile security and support software.


Handheld Group, a leading manufacturer of rugged mobile computers, and SOTI, a leading provider of enterprise mobility management solutions, have announced a strategic alliance.

The alliance will extend SOTI MobiControl’s deep management capabilities to Handheld’s rugged mobile devices, enabling Handheld’s reselling partners to offer SOTI’s technology to quickly provision devices, content and applications without end user intervention or downtime.

“This strategic partnership will allow end users to securely manage their mobile devices and connected peripherals, and securely protect company data,” said Jerker Hellström, CEO, Handheld Group. “This will make our products even more valuable to organizations with field workers across the globe.”
