Hyster celebrates National Forklift Safety Day with free posters

Durable, professionally printed posters can be ordered at no cost.

Hyster is celebrating National Forklift Safety Day by offering free posters.

National Forklift Safety Day, sponsored by the Industrial Truck Association, serves as a focal point for manufacturers to highlight the safe use of forklifts. Scheduled for June 12, 2018, this day provides an opportunity for the materials handling industry to enhance awareness of forklift safety practices and the importance of operator training.

“At Hyster, safety is not a once-a-year event; it is our main focus each day,” according to a release. “From product design to our award-winning operator training program, Hyster is committed to offering products that contribute to freedom from physical injury and property damage. No matter how safe and reliable the equipment, there is no replacement for trained, attentive operators, and, just as importantly, trained pedestrians.”

In a recent article, Marty Boyd, Hyster vice president of product planning and solutions, spoke about the importance of quality operator safety training programs and highlighted the OSHA-compliant “Best-in-Class” program from Hyster. Hyster is also one of the manufacturers incorporating new technology like virtual reality (VR) experiences in its operator training program.

This year, Hyster is offering Forklift Safety Tips and Pedestrian Safety Tips posters in recognition of 2018 National Forklift Safety Day. These durable, professionally printed posters can be ordered at no cost by submitting the order form on this page.

A complimentary copy of both posters (in the appropriate language) is included with Hyster’s award-winning Hyster Best-in-Class Operator Training DVD program.
