Intelligrated appoints Russ Mellott as vice president, software sales

Mellott brings 25 years of experience in sales and executive management positions for software organizations.


Intelligrated, a leading North American-based automated material handling solutions provider, has announced the appointment of Russ Mellott to the position of vice president, software sales.

Mellott is responsible for directing software sales, sales support, strategy and operational teams to increase market share for the Intelligrated software portfolio.

In his new role, Mellott leads sales of Intelligrated warehouse execution systems, labor management software and order picking technologies. Based in Atlanta, he reports to Kevin Roach, executive vice president and general manager, Intelligrated software.

“Russ has an exceptional track record driving sales growth in top-tier software organizations and we’re pleased to have him join Intelligrated,” Roach said. “He’s well-suited to increase penetration in key markets and connect more customers with software-driven solutions that improve fulfillment speed and accuracy.”

During a 25-year career, Mellott has held a variety of sales and executive management positions for software organizations, including Prophet 21 and Activant Solutions. He most recently served as senior vice president of sales for Epicor Software. He holds a bachelor’s degree in computer science from LaSalle University.
