KNAPP launches YLOG Industry Solutions

New sub-company to focus on scalable shuttle solutions for medium-sized companies.

YLOG Industry Solutions has been created as a separate company in connection with KNAPP AG. The new company will focus on scalable system solutions for medium-sized companies.

The YLOG shuttle system is suited for production applications or assembling companies, as a production buffer or for the fully automatic supply of work stations. For distribution centers, the system is intended to be flexible and versatile, with a rack system that can be fitted to the structure of the existing building. The scalability of the system allows shuttles and racks to be added as the company grows.

The technology is based on freely moving shuttles available in three standard sizes and equipped with swiveling wheels. An innovative power supply system allows the shuttles to move independently in the racks, across levels and beyond the limits of the aisle. The price/performance ratio and energy consumption are designed to offer advantages in comparison to conventional stacker cranes or vertical carousels.

“Being able to offer clever, cost efficient solutions and having the support of the KNAPP Group, YLOG Industry Solutions is positioned to offer our customers a one-of-a-kind combination of technological competence and investment security,” said Wolfgang Skrabitz, managing director of YLOG Industry Solutions.
