Mark Schmidt, PCMH, joins Power Automation Systems

Schmidt brings experience in sales engineering and sales management.

Mark Schmidt, an executive manager with an extensive background in material handling systems and supply chain solutions, has joined Power Automation Systems (PAS) to serve customers with their warehouse management needs.

Schmidt’s experience with Murata, where he was a sales engineer, and Daifuku, where he was the system sales senior manager, positions him as an ideal resource for PAS customers looking for information regarding the company’s cart and lift-based automated storage and retrieval solution for the efficient warehousing of palletized loads.

Schmidt’s background also includes time spent with Remstar, providing a solid foundation for the business of material handling. Schmidt will be based in PAS’ Chicago office and report to executive vice president Cory Hypes.

Hypes said, “Mark is an exceptional communicator with a demonstrated success in interacting with customers. We feel confident our customers will profit from working with Mark and the system solutions he is able to deliver to meet each customer’s individualized needs in pallet storage.”
