Mitsubishi Electric Automation has launched a website in an effort to help manufacturers conserve energy.
The new site is a dedicated resource that provides tools, white papers, and energy reduction solutions for a variety of industries, including automotive, food and beverage, logistics, material handling, packaging, metal, cement, glass, chemical, paper, data centers, warehouses and other manufacturing or commercial facilities.
“We created this energy microsite to help facility managers, plant managers, sustainability mangers and others within the manufacturing sector meet their aggressive energy reduction goals,” said Ghulam Khan, senior automation solutions engineer, Mitsubishi Electric Automation.
Visitors to the site will gain insight into energy awareness and challenges, energy monitoring hardware and software, energy key performance indicators, and how to achieve energy certification goals (Energy Star, ISO 50001, LEED).
The site also includes an energy-saving calculator and a blog. The energy microsite can be accessed at www.mitsubishienergy.com and includes information on energy utilization in the facility layer, plant floor production equipment and processes.
