A new automatic guided vehicle (AGV) drive unit, AGV cart tugger and heavy-duty pipe system for constructing structures such as workstations, flowracks, carts and AGVs are on display at Creform’s exhibit (Booth 4705).
“These products help manufacturers strengthen their lean and continuous improvement programs,” said Keith Soderlund, Creform’s VP of Sales.
The BST NSI AGV tugger’s sophisticated control system can mobilize an entire fleet of carts for up to 50 courses (128 commands each) and is programmable by onboard touchscreen or PC, noted Soderlund. “It can also be part of a managed AGV system with traffic control. These units are ideal for delivering carts of sequenced or kitted parts to assembly lines with very little human interface,” he said.
Also on display, the company’s modular building system employs 42 mm pipe for enhanced strength, requiring less material and fewer joints for bracing to meet strength requirements. The system is compatible with accessories, including an Ergo-Lift system and roller conveyors.
