Daniel McKinnon, EVP of exhibitions and events at MHI, offers these five tips to all attendees who want to get more out of the Modex experience:
- Take advantage of the mobile app. MHI upgraded the app with both the exhibitor and the attendee in mind. The mobile app is fully integrated into the MHI website and everything is single sign on. "It will be a more accessible, user-friendly experience for the attendee to use for planning pre-show, while onsite and post-show,” says Daniel McKinnon, MHI’s EVP of exhibitions.
- Check out the new front porch. Located in Hall A, the front porch will include not only upgraded and fine temporary dining like food trucks, but also some special cuisine focusing on local and fresh ingredients and farm to table. “We're really trying to upgrade the options for our attendees and help improve their experiences on the show site,” says McKinnon.
- Bring your walking shoes. This is the first year that Modex will encompass the entire Georgia World Congress Center, including every square foot of the GWCC and the adjoining campus, which includes the new Signia Hotel by Hilton property and the Omni Hotel. There will be a lot of ground to cover and steps to cross off your daily goal list.
- Explore new opportunities. Modex 2024 is the perfect place to learn new concepts, meet new people and get up close and personal with new technologies. As you lay out your plans for the week, prepare to explore the new opportunities that exist at this event. For example, MHI CEO John Paxton says one of the most interesting evolutions lies in the way companies are “connecting” the automation products with the software that organizations need to run their end-to-end supply chains.
- Check out the surrounding area. Additional bonus? Visiting Atlanta. Voted “Best in Travel” in 2022 by National Geographic and the Lonely Planet, Atlanta keeps visitors inspired with its dynamic personality and engaging attractions.
