Online configurator for wire mesh guarding debuts at SpaceGuard

Having launched the BeastWire mesh-guarding system two years ago, SpaceGuard Products (Booth B4547) announced the new BeastBuilder online 3D configurator in a press conference Tuesday.

“We unveiled BeastWire at Modex 2016,” said Eddie Murphy, owner and president. “It’s modular, multi-use, shared components create safety fences, security cages, storage lockers, pallet rack safeguarding, mezzanine in-fill panels, and other options in one, cost-effective and readily available line.”

The 3D configurator allows SpaceGuard’s distributors to complete drawings for safety fences, security cages, wire partitions and storage lockers in front of a customer. “This ensures the customer gets exactly what they want without days of costly engineering time or delays. It also creates a quote in minutes based on the accepted drawing,” Murphy added.

The software further allows for drawing of the surrounding environment—including columns or other obstructions—to guarantee an exact fit. Murphy says other product configuration options will be added to the system in the coming months.

Modex 2018 is scheduled to be held April 9-12 at the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta. The tradeshow will showcase the latest manufacturing, distribution and supply chain solutions in the materials handling and logistics industry. Modern’s complete coverage of the show.
