Sanitube A/S of Denmark has become the 15th new member to join the Reusable Packaging Association (RPA) in 2011, and is the fifth international company to join, it was announced today by the RPA.

Sanitube is a family owned business directed by Troels Jakobsen. Sanitube provides washing modules - single or double lane - dimensioned for containers, crates, pallets (1200 x 800/1000 mm), trays and similar wash items. The company’s drying equipment is designed to preserve the hygiene level produced in the washing cycle and reduces humidity, an agent for bacteria growth. Sanitube also manufactures handling and conveying equipment for reusable packaging including stacking, de-stacking, palletizing and de-palletizing equipment.

“We are pleased that Sanitube has chosen to become a member of the RPA. Increasing our international reach and presence is important to our overall growth and stature as a global association representing the reusable industry,” said Jerry Welcome, RPA President.
