How Patterson Logistics Services transformed operations by voice enabled SAP
Patterson, whose operations ship roughly 25,000 orders every day, had been fulfilling orders using paper documents and manual processes. With a goal of achieving industry-leading operations, they knew they were in need of a major change.
They chose to implement SAP ERP and eWM along with many workflow improvements, including Voice-directed picking. The project was large, comprehensive, and complex, yet it was incredibly successful in every way. In the words of Paul Courchene, Logistics Core Leader for Patterson, “We were not trying to make something special. We were trying to make something productive and something we could replicate. But what came out of this was something really special.”
