As Chair of MHI and on behalf of our Board and our members, it is my privilege to welcome you back in person to ProMat 2023 to see, experience and touch the future of supply chains.
ProMat will provide four days of solutions and innovation for your manufacturing and supply chain operations. Exhibits and educational offerings will be in both the South and North Halls of McCormick Place. Your ProMat badge will provide you entrance to the ProMat exhibits, as well as all keynotes and show floor seminars.
To make it easier for you to find the solutions you need, ProMat’s 1,000+ exhibits are organized into convenient solution-specific centers: manufacturing and assembly; information technology (IT); fulfillment and delivery; transportation and logistics; and robotics and automation.
The ProMat Supply Chain Conference includes theaters featuring 150 show floor educational seminars. The theaters for Emerging Technologies and Robotics & Automation are in the North Hall and the Knowledge Center theaters are in the South Hall. Please consult your ProMat Expo Guide for titles, locations, and times of these educational sessions. You can also download the official ProMat app at promatshow.com/app to have all this information at your fingertips.
ProMat also features four keynotes today, tomorrow and Wednesday, that will explore the issues and trends impacting supply chains. Today, Michelle Dilley, CEO of AWESOME will moderated a panel of women supply chain leaders on their leadership stories, the trends and technologies impacting their operations and their predictions for the future. This insightful keynote will begin at 8:45 AM in Room S100.
In addition, we will announce the 2023 MHI Innovation Award winners and the 2022 Startup Award during Wednesday’s MHI Industry Night. Then, we will have some laughs with comedian Nate Bargatze. The 2023 Innovation Award showcases new products and innovations presented by ProMat exhibitors. The winners will be chosen by a panel of independent judges, in three categories: Best New Innovation, Best IT Innovation and Best Innovation of an Existing Product. The Startup Award will be chosen by ProMat attendees during the show, visit the Startup Pavilion in the North Hall and vote by Noon on March 22.
If you would like to attend Industry Night with comedian Nate Bargatze on March 22, tickets are $50 and can be purchased at ProMat Registration. A portion of the evenings proceeds will be donated the Material Handling Education Foundation (MHEFI) whose mission is to provide financial support for educational programs to engage and retain talent for the material handling, logistics and supply chain industry.
ProMat offers many opportunities to connect with your peers on the ProMat app, on social media and in The Hub. The Hub is located at the center of the South Hall and offers opportunities to meet and connect with other attendees.
Today’s events will also include a Women in Supply Chain Forum that will feature a presentation on the five languages of leadership. There is also an MHI Young Professionals Meet and Greet today from 5:00–6:00 PM in Room S102bc. If you are a young professional in the industry, I strongly recommend you attend this great networking event.
MHI is proud to host you at ProMat and again at MODEX 2024 (March 11-14, 2024, at Atlanta’s Georgia World Congress Center). MHI represents the industry that provides the essential solutions that make supply chains work.
