Association prepares to address industry challenges and advance reusables throughout the supply chain.

The Reusable Packaging Association (RPA) announced its 2013 Executive Committee members today. Formed in 1998, the RPA is the leading trade association dedicated to promoting the expansion and value of reusable packaging systems for greater supply chain efficiencies, increased environmental benefits and reduced costs.

The 2013 RPA Executive Committee will be led by Chairman Robert Engle, President Americas, Schoeller Arca Systems Inc. Rob Zachrich, President and Chief Operating Officer of Fabri-Form, will be Vice Chairman; and John Frey, President of Tosca Limited, will continue to serve as RPA Secretary/Treasurer. Mike Hachtman, President and CEO of reLogistics Services, LLC, will become immediate Past Chairman (ex officio), and Jerry Welcome will continue as RPA President and CEO (ex officio).

“The RPA is comprised of diverse, resourceful and energetic companies that are ready to address industry challenges and advance reusables throughout the supply chain,” said Engle. “As Chairman, I intend to channel these great resources and drive more collaboration among our members, and increase the value proposition of the Association.”

“The Association has grown significantly and has become a stronger and more respected resource for companies that want to convert to reusables,” said Zachrich. “More and more supply chains are adopting sustainable practices. It’s an exciting time to be a part of the RPA and to help these companies make a successful transition.”
