RoboUniverse conference and expo makes west coast debut

Conference includes a track devoted to the use of robotics in manufacturing and logistics.


RoboUniverse, produced by Mecklermedia, is making its west coast debut in San Diego this month.

Like most Mecklermedia events (which include shows focused on 3D printing, virtual reality, and Bitcoin), RoboUniverse is on a “world tour” that includes the following stops:

Shanghai:  December 8-10, 2015
San Diego:  December 14-16, 2015
Singapore:  January 26-27, 2016
New York:  April 10-12, 2016
Dubai:  April 20-21, 2016
Mexico City:  May 31-June 2, 2016
Seoul: June 22-24, 2016

Launched at the Javits Convention Center in New York City in May of this year, RoboUniverse is a conference with multiple tracks that address the use of robotics in different industries and applications and an exhibition that features companies who are pioneers in this space, and includes many robots for industrial and personal use. The event has been designed to provide attendees with insight into robotics and earning about the education, business, and technical opportunities within this growing industry.

Specifically, presentations made in the conference sessions focus on robots’ impact on society, including their use in the classroom, capabilities in the workforce, applications in the household and more. A comprehensive conference program includes more than 80 international speakers.

As part of this educational session program, there is an entire track devoted to the use of robotics in manufacturing and logistics. The conference will also address the subject of drones, as well as robotics in STEM education, agriculture/farming, healthcare and more. Click here for the full conference agenda.
