Peter Boyle, a global sales manager for Rockwell Automation, highlighted benefits of the MagneMover product at Monday press conference.

Rockwell Automation (Booth B6611) is showcasing its Independent Cart Technology (ICT), a new approach to linear motors, using magnets to precisely control motion with frictionless propulsion. This solution reduces the number of packing stations needed and increases production rates. The technology can help solve today’s challenges and meet future needs with easy-to-modify design, intelligent conveyance and optimized use of space.

“With ICT, you can tackle more SKUs and customization needs with high-speed sortation, dynamic gapping, and built-in track and trace,” said Linda Freeman, industry manager.

The MagneMover LITE is one of Rockwell Automation’s ICT solutions, a smart, frictionless transport system specifically designed to move light loads quickly and efficiently. It outperforms traditional belt and chain conveyors for applications with demanding motion requirements, delivering new levels of process optimization and throughput.

In the booth you can see the MagneMover LITE deliver flexible routing and high-speed sorting in a small, low-maintenance footprint. This display includes an augmented reality workforce enablement demo.
