To meet customer demand for portable, low-cost foam-in-bag solutions, Sealed Air (Booth 6723) unveiled the new Instapak Simple system.
“Instapak Simple is ideal for low-volume operations making fewer than 25 packs a day,” explained Tanya Paterno, business manager. “It produces foam cushions with standard 110-volt power for energy savings, and doesn’t require heated hoses, pumps, external controls or heavy, 15-gallon containers of A and B components. Prior to the development of this solution, foam systems had limited mobility due to these requirements.”
The Instapak Simple system’s compact construction allows it to be transported to multiple packaging stations or placed at several work cells.
“A push of a button produces materials at a rate of at least three bags per minute,” she added. The system generates foam materials without manual mixing or individual bag loading—adding to labor savings.
