At a Monday press conference, Sentry Protection Products (Booth S4323) showcased its Collision Sentry Multi-Zone, which it believes is the next generation of collision warning systems.

Able to either decrease or completely eliminate blind spot collisions like the previously released models, the Collision Sentry Multi-Zone offers one significant difference: it can help prevent collisions in a variety of areas, rather than only corner intersections.

Featuring two units, which communicate wirelessly and can be mounted in any two areas, the product is self-powered.

“It’s like taking our Collision Sentry Corner Pro offering and splitting it in half,” said James Ryan, owner of Sentry Protection Products. “As a result, by utilizing the Collision Sentry Multi-Zone, users can choose wherever they put the two sides, according to whichever areas they believe are the most susceptible for collisions.”
Both of the units act as one. For example, if they each notice a motion of some sort, which may be a potential collision, they will flash a coordinated audio and visual warning.
“We can’t wait to see the creative ways customers are using it,” Ryan added.
