A few weeks ago, I ran a column in this space about Best Pallet, a new pallet design program from White & Company.
In that column, I mistakenly wrote that PDS, the pallet design system developed by the National Wooden Pallet & Container Association, was only available to members of NWPCA.
“This is simply untrue,” NWPCA wrote in a letter to Modern. “NWPCA’s Pallet Design System (PDS), a highly respected computer-assisted software program, is sold to both NWPCA members and non-members.” While the organization suggests that end users work with their pallet supplier, NWPCA also says that “For companies who cannot or choose not to lease the software for their own in-house use, including pallet customers, a PDS-based pallet design service is also available from NWPCA.”
You can learn more about licensing the PDS system at this link.
