SSI Schaefer appoints new executive sales manager for automated systems division

Williams brings extensive experience in business development in the automated material handling and logistics fields.


SSI Schaefer has announced the hiring of Andy Williams to the position of executive sales manager, automated systems division (ASD).

Williams joins SSI Schaefer after an extensive career in business development in the automated material handling and logistics fields.

“Andy’s wide-ranging experience in the logistics sector, with emphasis on the food retail, fashion and parts and components industries, will be invaluable to our customers and our automated systems division,” said Ross Halket, executive director, ASD sales. “We are looking forward to utilizing his expertise for our growth in this market.”

Williams holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in International Business from the University of Georgia, and is also an active member of the Warehousing Education and Research Council (WERC), Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals (CSCMP), and Material Handling Institute (MHI).
