WEPCO announces appointment of Larry Strayhorn as president

Strayhorn will be assuming the ownership interest of Sam Arfanella, who has been named VP of Engineering.


WEPCO, Inc., a leading materials handling systems Integrator, recently announced that Larry Strayhorn has been appointed president of the company, effective immediately. Strayhorn will be assuming the ownership interest of Sam Arfanella, who has been named VP of Engineering.

Strayhorn, known for his leadership and integrity, is based out of the materials handling rich area of Grand Rapids, Michigan. Having been a principal owner/president of multiple companies in the industry, he is the immediate past Executive Chairman of MHI, the nation’s largest material handling, logistics and supply chain association.

Strayhorn’s appointment signals WEPCO’s plans to expand the scale of its Systems Integration and WEPCO Innovations product line. Commenting on his appointment, Strayhorn said, “I am tremendously excited to broaden WEPCO’s Systems Integration perspective and bring a new channel of growth to the company.”

Speaking of Arfanella’s career with the company, WEPCO CEO Christopher Paulsen states, “We are deeply grateful for Sam’s crucial role in establishing WEPCO’s reputation over the past 35 years, and are pleased that he is willing to continue sharing his engineering and problem-solving skills.”
