AIRO, with its headquarters in Italy, began production on its first fork lifts in 1980. By the early 1990’s AIRO entered the aerial platform business and quickly the name AIRO became synonymous with innovative designs in the self-propelled platform industry.

AIRO has always adopted the strictest European and international standards on safety, and invests heavily on guaranteeing the safety of its end users. The investment made when buying an AIRO platform includes the cost of ensuring that personnel will be working in complete safety. AIRO platforms are sound, solid and safe, and will pay back with years of reliable service.

AIRO Models available to the US market include: scissors, articulating boom, crawler boom (spiders), vertical mast, stock pickers and telescopic lifts. AIRO platforms are powered by battery, diesel or battery/diesel (bi-energy) and offer various heights, configurations and footprints.

Applied Machinery Sales imports, sells, and distributes world-class heavy equipment for the construction and rental industries in the US market.

Product lines include AIRO Aerial Work Platforms (AWP/MEWPs), Merlo Telehandlers and Rotos, and Venieri Loaders.
