One of the side effects of the explosion of e-commerce is the unprecendented growth in the number of packages going out the door to consumers. All of that material has to end up somewhere after the parcels have been delivered. The result is that retailers and shippers are spending more money than ever on packaging materials, and more of those materials are going to the landfill.

It doesn’t have to be that way. In this special podcast, sponsored by Paccurate, vice president of revenue Greg Walls will discuss the challenges facing operations managers and how a cartonization platform can optimize packing and packaging, reducing costs and material waste.
