Two new products are being showcased from Wildeck (Booth 1252): the EdgeAlert open gate alarm and the XpressLift high-speed automated tote lift.
To protect employees working on mezzanines, the EdgeAlert alarm signals an open safety gate with a flashing light and a loud alarm to prevent falls, said Hue Schlegel, director of marketing. “It’s easy to operate and can be installed on new or existing swing gates, slide gates, tilt gates or scissor gates,” he said.
Also debuting is the XpressLift automated vertical reciprocating conveyor (VRC) that transfers loads up or down multiple levels. The pre-wired, 18-foot-tall units quickly lift or lower totes or cartons weighing up to 75 pounds at speeds up to 350 feet-per-minute, Schlegel said.
“The XpressLift’s interactive controller features an easy-to-read text display on the front cover of the control panel that aids in commissioning and set-up. Local vertical and horizontal jog control is also provided, along with lift diagnostics to simplify troubleshooting and preventative maintenance,” he said.
